A mitzvah—meaning “commandment” or “good deed”—is a core part of Jewish life, emphasizing kindness, responsibility, and making the world a better place. As part of his Bar Mitzvah journey into Jewish adulthood, Laszlo is embracing this tradition through a meaningful Mitzvah Project.
Laszlo is passionate about many causes, including caring for animals, supporting people experiencing hardship, and protecting the environment. He is excited to work with the Jewish United Fund’s TOV Teens program, participating in a variety of “mitzvah mania” volunteer projects throughout the year. These one-time service opportunities allow him to help different communities in hands-on ways—from random acts of kindness to organized service days.
In addition, Laszlo plans to dedicate time to helping animals and supporting shelters, blending his love for animals with his commitment to tikkun olam—repairing the world.
Stay tuned for updates on Laszlo’s volunteer activities and ways you can support his efforts!
